I’m always looking for ways to use my Everything Bagel seasoning. I’m also always looking for new grilling recipes, especially as the weather gets warmer.

This recipe is perfect for that. It starts with an easy steak marinade — Ava Jane’s Kitchen Avocado Oil, lemon, Worcestershire, and a few other flavorful additions. I debated whether to add the Everything Bagel seasoning to the mix, and I’m glad I didn’t — instead, I added the seasoning after the steak was already cooked. That way, it didn’t burn from the high heat, but I still get the crunch and the high impact flavor.

You can use any vegetable you want for the steak skewers, or none at all. I chose cherry tomatoes, because I love the way they blister and become sweet from high heat cooking. They also don’t take long to cook, so if you don’t want your steak well done, the tomatoes will be juicy and charred, but not mushy.

Use this again: If you have leftover steak and tomatoes, add it to a salad. Would also be good with eggs for breakfast. Marinade would also make a good salad dressing (although don’t use after it has been used for marinating.)

For one or two servings: Recipe can be divided in half, or leftover marinade can be used for salad dressing.

Store leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
